So what better way to kick off then with my brand new Summer Tea Towel.

  15. Beautiful towel design! Summer finally comes into its own when the tomatoes ripen. Then I find ways to eat them at every meal, but my favorite is a tomato tart made with roasted garlic and a bit of fontina cheese, with strips of basil on top.

  19. I live in Austin, Texas, and summer always brings mangoes, pineapples, roasted corn, fresh salsa, and raspas (snowcones). Strange combination? Maybe, but you can find a stand on every major intersection selling these foods together in county fair fashion.

Usually there are pretty palm trees for sale, too, but you can't eat those unless you are a giraffe.
