Events this week

It's such a busy week for me as I prepare for my pop up
shop at West Elm tomorrow evening. Please come if you can
and RSVP right here.

Then on Friday I'm off to Philadelphia for a great event on Saturday
at the fabulous Terrain. They're hosting a Brooklyn Day with events
and demonstrations. I will be there with my line and a table full of local
produce to draw. There will also be food events with Baked and
Early Bird Granola, Brooklyn Slate and McClure's Pickles.
And also crafting ideas from Knot & Bow and a trunk show
with Nightwood.

This is really one not to miss if you're in the area and worth a day trip
if you're not.

Spring IS here.

It's true. Just when you thought that tiresome Winter
would never end it did and now we have warmer days to
look forward to. It's also time to get busy in the garden
and in honor of that and cooking some yummy food
I've produced 2 new tea towels as part of a series
called "Tools of the Trade". I hope these will bring
some cheeriness to your kitchen. They are available
to purchase right here.

IS BROOKLYN IN THE HOUSE ?

I can't hear you !
Is Brooklyn in the house ??

Here's my new ode to the borough I call home.
This is the first in a series of special screen printed
posters measuring 19 x 25 and printed on 100lb paper.
This lovely printing job was done for me by Philip Sachs
of Sheepshead Design. Here are some photos of the
printing process along with the final poster displayed
in a simple white frame available from Ikea.

March 1st Giveaway

Call this optimistic but, I really feel as if Spring is in the air.
We went to Washington, DC this weekend to introduce the kids
to the wonderful museums and sites. It was a great trip and made
even better because we could walk around with no jackets on
and feel the promise of milder, sunny days.

To celebrate Spring and say farewell to Winter I'm offering
my Winter Squash poster collaboration with Greenmarkets.
The poster measures 18 x 24 and will be available in my shop
on Friday but, to win one please place a comment below
on one of your favorite way to cook one of the squashes
illustrated on the poster.
The lucky winner will be randomly picked on March 8th.
