New Press

I hope that everyone had a lovely relaxing holiday with
family and friends. I for one am feeling rested after a
very busy and productive 3 weeks.
Back to just a little bit of business and it seems that my
Buy Local Calendar is continuing to gather interest.
I was happy to see it on these 2 sites.

I will be back in full swing on January 1st for the very first 2010
giveaway and then continuing into the New Year with my twice a month
seasonal recipes collaborating with chef Sung Uni Lee.
And 2010 promises to be full of exciting news and regular features.
Thanks to everyone who has tuned in and supported me in my first
year of blogging.

December 1st Recipe

I've been working away on a collaboration with a friend and chef
Sung Uni Lee. We both feel passionate about buying locally and eating
seasonally so we've decided to share this with my readers.

Every month on the 1st and 15th Sung will create a recipe using
ingredients featured in my 2010 calendar. I will illustrate these
recipes and at the end of the year we'll have 24 wonderful treats to
turn into a cook book.
We're also working on filming the making of each recipe
so stay tuned for that.

To launch our project check out the first recipe below.
Then our regular postings will commence January 1st.

Happy December 1st

Well, where do I start. I planned on blogging at
9am this morning but things have been busy over here.
What a lovely way to begin December with 2 wonderful
pieces of press.

Firstly thanks to Grace over at Design*Sponge for
featuring my tea towels. I can't keep up with the orders
today-it's wonderful.

And secondly Tribal Alphabet received a lovely mention
in the New York Magazine Gifted holiday guide.
