APRIL 1ST GIVEAWAY
COMMISSION YOUR OWN PORTRAIT.

This month I'm offering a custom portrait for the lucky winner and that can incorporate
loved one's and family members (as long as you don't have 10 kids !!).
If you don't win and are still interested in commissioning me please
email me. I also paint and can do large pieces.

To enter, please comment below on your favorite portrait artist known or unknown.
For example mine at the moment is David Hockney-I've been enjoying leafing through
a book of his work and loving his line drawings.

Here's a sample of my portrait style and the lucky winner will be announced on
April 7th. Good luck.

  2. Hmm...that's a tough one. Can't pick just one--I like portraits by artists as varied as Goya, James Whistler, Elizabeth Peyton, Barkley Hendricks

  3. WOW.. what an incredible giveaway, and what a difficult question!? Off the top of my head I would have to say Warhol... although personally, I find SELF-portraits by almost any artist fascinating.

  4. Great idea. For me its the humour of Chris Ofili, the depth of Lucian Freud and the gentle quirkiness of Lily Piri. I know that's three... but very hard to choose just one.

  7. I'm a big fan of Diana Sudyka. Check out her incredible portraits of Darwin (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=41984823) and South Pole explorer Tom Crean (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=36702367).

I love the imagination captured in each.
