Black Yard and Art Clash 2009

Today I'm continuing a little theme that seems to be running through this blog and
that's unusual sneakers.
A graphics and illustration team in Bern, Switzerland called Black Yard have
created these great customized Nike Air Force Ones.
It was part of Art Clash in Zurich, an event where a collection of artists are all challenged with creating objects, paintings and original artwork based around
specific themes.

Eco Warrior Bag

This image keeps cropping up for me on blogs I read and every time I see it
I have to giggle.
Tokyo based graphic and product design studio Rezon have recently launched
Eco Warrior Bag.
“Anyone can be a hero! Eco Warrior Bag is an eco-bag that represents you are an Environment activist.

Matta Coloring Book

I'm was so excited to get the first copy of my coloring book for Matta
in my hands. The cover printing needs some tweaking but it's basically there.

Garance Dore

Today I want to introduce you to a great fashion illustrator called Garance Dore from Paris.
In June 2006 she started a blog posting some of her drawings and adding bits of text.
She discovered the pleasures of sharing her love of fashion and has added some
street style photos which she shoots on the street or behind the scenes at fashion shows.
Whenever I need a little style inspiration for my work I always check out her photos.
I love the minimal line and selective color she uses in her illustrations.

My New Promotional Card

In joining a new agency I've put together a new logo and promotional postcard that will be mailed to many clients. It's nice to look back over 6 months of work and see the thread that runs through everything.

Tribal Alphabet featured on Eco Child's Play

I happily stumbled across this lovely review of my book on Eco Child's Play -
